Micaela Demichela was born in Torino, Italy, on May 7, 1970. She took her Master Science degree in Chemical Engineering at the Politecnico di Torino in 1997 and her PhD degree in Chemical Engineering in 2002. Since April 2006 she has been working as researcher at the now called Department of Applied Science and Technology of the Politecnico di Torino.
