I was born and raised in Boiling Springs, NC, a small town about an hour west of Charlotte. I graduated from Crest High School and went on to attend Appalachian State University and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary where I earned a B.A. in Biblical Studies. I worked as a youth pastor in Stedman, NC for a couple of years before moving back to Boiling Springs. When I moved back home, I got involved in a local church, and there I met the godly woman who would become my wife.
