I was born to a dysfunctional family in which the presence of constant criticism towards me and the absence of any physical affection caused me to become a potential menace to our society; until a "Big Brother" loved me enough to persuade Boys Town to accept me as the child of God I am. Now, I am part of a family that includes thousands of other children who suffered similar thoughts and feelings from "loved ones" but, by the grace of God and through the unyeilding efforts of Father Flanagan, were brought to a place of love and acceptance we all now call Home.
