I've been vegan since 1996. I'm married to Chris, and we are both nuts about dogs, including our own two rescue mutts. We have been owned by our fixer upper house since 2005 and I've been the general contractor and Chris and I or just I do most of the work myself. There is so much done and so much still to do that I cannot even guess at when or if it will ever be done. It's more like a way of life. So far I've tiled, made concrete countertops, done a lot carpentry, designed and installed closet systems, designed and installed heavy shelving in the garage and done low-voltage wiring (internet, phone, cable, speakers).
