The best way to describe myself would be a product development expert. My entire professional career and personal "weekend warrior" with start-ups has been about solving problems and bringing products to market.
After college I spent a total of 8 years in medical device R&D and have worked on several amazing product lines including, knee replacements, catheters, disposal surgical instruments and most recently spinal implants. Two of the three companies I had the honor of working for were in the Fortune 500 and reached the level of lead development engineer at the age of 26 where the product I helped bring to market earned over $20M in sales its 1st year.
