I'm a medical doctor (MD, PhD, MPH and MSc) specialized in Family and Community Medicine. After more than 10 y. at the Spanish National Health System, in an Internal Medicine Department and in Primary Care, I was the Director of the Web M茅dica Acreditada of the Medical Association of Barcelona, coordinating and managing a quality programme dealing with medical content-related websites based on the assessment of health information. Since 2006 I has been developing different research activities related to Biomedical Informatics, reuse of EHR, Big data, and Social Media at the Research Programme on Biomedical Informatics at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona (Spain).
