I am currently pursuing my PhD in the area of text mining under which my work narrows down to machine learning based clustering and classification of a huge collection of text documents. I majorly focus on designing representation schemes as well as feature selection techniques for text data. Apart from text mining, I also work on image and video processing applications with pattern recognition being the heart of the research.
