Let's see I'm Monsi. I just realized that not everyone knows me by that name. When starting school, that is entering kindergarten, my teacher asked what I wanted to be called and since Maria was an option I choose that. At the time I thought it was a cool name and ever so different. Some time in junior high and high school I had some people call me by the name my family calls me. I see myself and identify myself as Monsi because it is what I am most comfortable with. Maria is a name for formal means.
