Dr. Montgomery Johns is medical director of the Center for Advanced Women's Medicine in Fredericksburg, Virginia, where he has practiced gynecology since 1996. As a gynecological surgeon, he specializes in robotic and advanced laparoscopic surgery, as well as pelvic floor reconstructive surgery and urogynecology. Dr. Montgomery Johns is also on staff at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, where he was chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology from 1993 until 1995. He has developed two women's health-care programs for the hospital: the advanced laparoscopic gynecologic surgery program and the robotic surgery program in gynecology.
