Jo茫o Lu铆s Cardoso de Moraes was born in Pirassununga, S茫o Paulo, Brazil, in 1965. He obtained his B.Sc. degree in military science from the 'Military Academy of Agulhas Negras' (Resende, Brazil) in 1987 and, his M.Sc. degree in computing science from the 'Federal University of S茫o Carlos' (S茫o Carlos, Brazil), in the software engineer specialisation, in 2005. Officer in Brazilian Army with jungle expert specialization. He works on projects related to semantic interoperability between healthcare information systems using dual-level modeling (openEHR standard).
