I have spent approximately 10 years working with people with disabilities in different roles. I have worked one-on-one as a direct care professional. While in this position I was promoted to a Qualified Developmental Disabilities Professional. I have since worked in the area for several years and established myself within the niche. I also spent two years as a special education teacher where I honed in on my assessment skills through creating Individual Education Plans for each of my students on my caseload.
