Gary is a 3-year-old, white and brown brindle American Bulldog and Boxer mix who was found to be friendly, energetic, and people-oriented in his behavior assessment. He pulls lightly on leash but is polite with strangers, greeting them with some jumping but not knocking people over. Gary is moderately calm in his cage, rarely barks, and is attentive when being petted. While food motivated, he was hesitant to move his food bowl when touched. The assessment recommends Gary for training as he loves treats and seems happy-go-lucky.

Food Bowl
Passed
With Reservation He let me move the bowl, but when the assist-a-hand
touched his face to move it out, he dug into the food
more and wouldn't budge. Due to his generally
friendly demeanor and the fact that he neither growled
nor snapped at the hand, I did not fail him on this test,
but potential owners may want to watch this behavior.
General Observations
Active He is neither totally calm nor overly energetic.
Attentive He loves being pet!
Confident
Mouthy He is a little snappy at treats. He did not get my
fingers at all, but this will still be something to work on.
People-Centered He loves people! A wiggle butt. :)
Playful
Responds For treats, definitely.
Secure
House Broken
Unknown No mess in cage, only #1 outside.
