I'm the graduate programs coordinator for the MA and MFA programs in Design with concentrations in Innovation Studies (soon to re-named as "concentrations in Design Research"). I have taught visual communication design at UNT since 1998, and at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design for four years prior to that. I have 28 years of professional experience in communication designer, as well as IxD, UxD and industrial design. My research interests include children's education and healthcare, urban revitalization, and a variety of processes that inform how humans interact with computing technologies.
