Responsible for the overall management of a three-unit department including Access Services, Digital Projects, and Library Systems. Directly supervise three faculty unit heads who manage seventeen staff members and 40+ student assistants. Serve as a member of the library's management team. Represent the library to other campus committees (IT Liaisons Group, Academic Computing Advisory Committee). as appointed. Serve on faculty committees as elected or assigned. Provide departmental leadership in budgeting, strategic planning, and operations. Currently chair a UNC System-wide committee on information technology.
