After over 8 years of university life I finally finished with studentness in 2008 and got those all important letters in front of my name (D and R, if you were wondering, BOOM!). I then went onto work at a university of all places, Strathclyde to be exact, in a drug discovery group. It was all going good and even better because I didn't work in a lab or have to wear a lab coat. That all changed 2 years later and I was back in the lab but it wasn't too bad. After another 12 months I left Strathclyde, Glasgow and Scotland and made the huge leap to Sydney to take up yet another post-doc position. It's all going good so far and summer is just around the corner :)
