At university I studied physics, and ended up with more questions than answers. My real education has been working for two great investors: Sandy Nairn (Edinburgh); and Graeme Hart (NZ). And spending six months trekking round the poverty filled foothills of Nepal. I suppose any wisdom I have has come from my wife - but she would say marriage has yet to bear fruits in my personal development. My tonic is my yacht and my laughter my children. One day I will get that Karate black belt and 2011 is the year of the house.
