I served over twenty years in law enforcement. My career began in Enterprise, Alabama, where I was a reserve officer and police chaplain. Eventually, I became employed there as a detention officer, communications officer, and finally a police officer. When we moved back to South Carolina, I became a police officer for the City of Greer and promoted to corporal. From there, I took my first chief's position for the Town of Jonesville, SC. My second chief's position was at Springdale, SC, where I had seven great years as chief. I came to Acworth in December, 2002, to become the chief.
