MY Jamro born at Shikarpur, Sindh (Pakistan). I did my graduation in Electronics and Masters in Communication Technology from University of Sindh, Jamshoro (Pakistan) in 1989 and 1990, respectively. During which, I was awarded one Gold medal (university Top) and two Silver medals (Faculty Top) for achieving top ranks in academic carrier. I had served as Research Associate and Lecturer in IIT, University of Sindh Jamshoro (Pakistan) from 1991 to 1996. In recognition of my academic achievements, I was awarded Commonwealth Staff Academic Scholarship to do PhD in UK, which I completed in year 2001 at the Manchester Metropolitan University, UK. The research area was in Optical Fibre Communication
