Naf’an Tarihoran is an Associate Professor in Education at Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin State Islamic University (UIN) Banten. He completed a Doctor of Education at the State University of Jakarta (UNJ) in 2009 and taught at State Islamic Univesity since 2004. He also holds a Master of Humanities from the University of Indonesia (UI), a certificate of ELT, a Bachelor of Arts from HAMKA University Jakarta, and Diploma of Islamic Education from Islamic College of Sibolga, North Sumatera. His teaching areas are in teacher education, particularly in area curriculum development, and in post graduate coursework programs, specializing in curriculum, assessment and action research.
