I suffered a stroke many years ago, and am handicapped by loss of the use of my right arm and hand. I am ambulatory but with significant and deliberate effort, if given the time needed, through the assistance of a quad cane and powered scooters.
Through misfortune, my husband (Jim) of 25+ years is in prison; so I am virtually on my own, or at the mercy of the generous yet sacrificial services of volunteers.
While incarcerated, Jim found salvation, and was offered an opportunity to enroll in a Bible Institute inside the Prison. He has now completed Biblical Studies and Ministry Specialization to the Doctoral level, and is currently completing his doctoral thesis.
