1) This document describes a group project to design an umbrella with an integrated fan. The fan umbrella is intended to provide comfort on hot, sunny days and reduce sweating while encouraging outdoor activity. 2) The umbrella fan uses batteries, a small fan, switch, wires, motor, and other basic materials. It has advantages like being able to switch the fan off when not needed, providing both sun and rain protection while feeling cool, operating quietly, and being affordable. 3) The fan umbrella is meant to improve upon the traditional shading function of umbrellas alone by keeping users comfortable on extremely hot days through the addition of a small built-in fan.

- 2. INTRODUCTION ï‚ž You can get so many types of patio umbrellas and accessories these days. You could get one with built- in lighting or with remote controlled movement or even with misting spray jets. Heck, there even patio umbrellas just for dogs. However, now you can also add the Umbrella Fanto the list. An umbrella fan is great idea, it fits right around standard umbrella poles and the breeze it generates keeps you cool while you relax in the shade and also helps to keeps flying insects away. Now if they could just invent a patio umbrella that combines all of these great elements, but with collapsible foam fan blades and make it all solar powered, it would truly be perfection in the sun.

ADVANTAGES ï‚ž The fan can switch off if you does not want to use the fan for example in rainy day. ï‚ž Not only can use while raining day it also can use while hot day to protect from sunlight and still feel cool. ï‚ž Peacefull and quiet. ï‚ž Easy spare part. ï‚ž Low cost, affordable. ï‚ž Suitable for all age.

- 7. CONCLUSION The patent product is based on the umbrella installed Fan function .To make up for the traditional Sun-Rain umbrella shading function only .In extremely hot weather ,the fan umbrella let you always enjoy the cool with the pleasant mood.
