12 years as Clinical Nurse Specialist in both Primary and Secondary Care. Set up new services and run nurse-led service. Active in the British Hypertension Society, chairing the Nurses Working Group and co ordinating nurse/pharmacist education days both for Hypertension and cardiovascular disease and also non - medical prescribing updates.
Now creating bespoke training packages for Primary Care Nurses and Specialist hypertension nurses, and for community pharmacists needing to learn clinical and consultation skills. International collaboration in Africa to create relevant and cost effective education programmes for nurses, pharmacists and health workers.
