Natércia Lima was born in Porto, Portugal, on December 11, 1965. She received a Degree in Physics/Applied Mathematics and the M.Sc. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Porto, Portugal in 1989 and 1998, respectively. She is now a student of the Doctoral Program in Education at the Society of Knowledge of the University of Salamanca, in the area Engineering Education. She has been an Adjunct Professor with the Department of Physics, School of Engineering, Polytechnic of Porto, since 1993 and a full member of the Research Group in Systems Testing, part of the Center for Innovation in Engineering and Industrial Technology, since 2014.
