My research interests include education, young studies, globalization, and gender in Kazakhstan and Central Asia. I was a grantee of the Faculty Development Fellowship Program of Open Society Foundations (2011-2013) with Education Policy Studies & Evaluation Department at the University of Kentucky, USA. Additionally, I am interested with media and popular culture studies in Kazakhstan.
