I began my career as a civil engineer, then after my MBA branched into management consulting with Deloitte Consulting in South Africa. After a few years I joined the telecoms and IT industries and gained experience with Telkom SA, Eskom Enterprises, ITXC/Teleglobe, Arivia.kom, and Microsoft Corporation, specialising in business development, sales, and operations management of telecoms and IT projects all over Africa. I have worked in most countries in Africa, selling and implementing solutions, recruiting and managing agents and local partners, and generating turnover and margins on implementation of telecoms and IT solutions and services.
