Studied the possibility of certain fungal bioherbicides against rice weeds in high school, which led to national-level science fair awards (1998 Intel Philippine Science Fair, 1998 National Inventors' Week).
Purified monoclonal antibodies by affinity chromatography for my first job, at the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM) Immunology Department.
Transferred to the Molecular Biology Laboratory of RITM, where I performed research and/or diagnostic nucleic acid testing of HIV-1, rabies, Ebola-Reston, Influenza, and coronavirus. I am also involved in biosafety, biosecurity, document process control, and laboratory training.
