I have spent the past six years developing software and platforms to automate deployments and scale applications. I’ve hardened databases, automated disaster recovery, and configured a variety of monitoring stacks. I’ve worked in a variety of languages including Ruby, Scala, and Java. Configuring and monitoring databases was a big part of my role at Jack Henry which included Postgresql, HDFS/HBase, and Mongodb. I’ve automated full stack deployments into AWS, openstack, and VMWare for production and development clusters.
