Patience is waiting. Not passively waiting. That is laziness. But to keep going when the going is hard and slow - that is patience.
I am a substitute teacher (mainly in SCASD) and love teaching! It is my true calling and I'm thrilled to be able to call myself a teacher. I was a Penn State PDS Intern during 2009-10 and had a great experience. I was really tired at the end of the year, but it was SO worth it! :-) This past year I taught in over 60 different classrooms in all but two grades and in almost every building in SCASD! I learned A LOT and now feel I'm even a better teacher.
