Nikos Salonitis was born in 1968. He plays guitar since 6 years old. He finished his studies on classical guitar in 1985. He studied musicology at the musicology section of University of Thessaloniki (Greece) and he graduated in 1998. He plays fretless jazz bass since 1993. He joined in about 1000 concerts in all Greece and abroad from 1993 to 2000.
