When I was 12, reality hit that I would never develop a super power. I would never be able to fly, read minds, shoot laser beams or teleport. My dream of becoming a ninja didn't pan out either due to the lack physical agility. Disappointed and frustrated, I turned to the creative side, to make up for what failed to happen in life.
On the plus side it all worked out. I settled for plane instead of flying; substituted relocation companies for teleportation; and instead of reading minds I try to understand different culture and human behavior.
