Thas Nirmalathas is a Professor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Melbourne with a research focus on communications technologies and networks with a strong interest in interdisciplinary research, collaboration and innovation. He has held many senior research and academic leadership positions within the University of Melbourne. He co-founded the Melbourne Accelerator Program which seeks to build an start up ecosystem at the University of Melbourn.
