Nelson Muffuh leads UNFPA's communications, advocacy and media and public relations for the West and Central Africa Region.
Prior to that he led the stakeholder outreach, networking, partnerships and communications coordination in the Post-2015 Development Planning (2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development/SDGs) team in the Executive Office of the UN Secretary General/One UN Post-2015 Secretariat. He was also the Head of the Post-2015 Strategy Hub that shaped, coordinated and delivered the mega communications push around the UN Summit to Adopt the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and launch the Sustainable Development Goals.
