The National Statistics Office (NSO) is the major statistical agency of the government responsible in collecting, compiling, classifying, producing, publishing, and disseminating general-purpose statistics as provided for in Commonwealth Act (CA) No.591.
It is also the agency task to implement Act 3753 or the Civil Registry Law and act as central repository of all registered civil registry documents of the country.
