About
The main focus of my Ph.D. research has been the synthesis of bicyclic and tricyclic heterocyclic compounds. The compounds which I synthesized were tested in isolated enzymes, cell lines and animals to obtain a structure activity relationship with an aim of developing novel anticancer agents by inhibition of angiogenesis or folate metabolizing enzymes or tubulin. During my six years at Duquesne, I have developed strong background in milligram and multigram scale multi-step synthesis of molecules.
