I have recently completed a PhD in Economics at the University of New England. My thesis examined the effectiveness of government programs & policies on agricultural development in Botswana. It attempted to understand the reasons for the decline in agricultural performance despite major policy reforms to boost growth over the past decade. I am highly passionate about researching, evaluating and proposing policy recommendations that influence business decision-making and economic development. My research experience and interest are in agricultural and resource economics, productivity and efficiency analysis, applied econometrics and value chain analysis.
