Ourania Tsiakalou is currently finishing her MA studies on Translation and Translation Theory at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
She engages in literary translation, translation of theory and theory of translation. Her research interests include deconstruction and post-structuralism, gender studies, political reflections on contemporary communities, and translation as a means of disseminating, transforming, constructing and deconstructing discourses and identities.
She has been teaching English since 2008. She has also worked as an office assistant (secretarial support) and a researcher on Quantitive Market Research.
