Education

I focus mainly on the transition from pre- to postharvest in product physiology and product quality. This is aimed at allowing information acquired during the production phase to become meaningful and available during the postharvest handling phase. I specialise in using non-destructive measurement techniques for determining internal physiological states combined with dynamic models to interpret the measurements and to predict future quality related behaviour under specified environmental conditions.
