I am a Professional Registered Nurse with a passion for improving healthcare through education. I have seven years of nursing experience, five of which were served as a bedside nurse on a busy General Medical floor in a 400 bed hospital. I am board certified in Med-Surg nursing. My last two years of working in the hospital environment were as a nurse educator on the General Medical floor. I served on numerous hospital-wide collaborative committees as well as having the primary responsibility of evaluating and providing competency training for new hires, staff nurses, and nursing assistants.
