I am a student at IIT Kharagpur, India pursuing 聽Masters (by research) program. My research problem revolves around this question 鈥渨hy neutral speech synthesized by the Text to speech systems is different from the storytelling style speech.鈥� My objective is to convert the neutral output of TTS into a storytelling style speech. It involves a succinct analysis of various prosodic aspects like pitch, duration, intensity, prominence, tempo, pause patterns. Also modeling these parameters using knowledge based system and statistical models in order to achieve this goal.
