He has obtained his B.Tech degree (Information Technology) and M.Tech (Computer Science and Engineering) from Punjab Technical University. He is working as Assistant Professor in Information Technology Department and has more than Eight years of rich experience as an academician and researcher. He has received several best-paper awards including the IEEE "Best Paper Award" (2012) and IEEE "Session-Wise Award" (2014). He has also received a few awards for excellence in teaching at CEC Landran: Best Faculty Award (2011) and Best Performer Award (2013).
