Had the great chance to attend Kamehameha Schools from 7th grade until graduation in 1979. It is a surprise in that I graduated at all. Went to a year of community college at Leeward Community in Pearl City where I learned how to enjoy a good plate lunch while skipping classes.
In 1980 I went on a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to the Philippines. At that time it was the most humbling learning experience that I had ever had. The experiences there help to mold me into the person I am today. Once I returned in 1982, I enrolled at Brigham Young University - Hawaii Campus. While there I met my lovely wife Dayna Elder.
