I grew up in Port Orchard, WA, lived in Oregon, New York and then back in WA. Worked for DSHS 30 years doing social work with individuals, children and families in CWS, CPS, FRS foster home licensing, adoptions. Sixteen years in management/supervision. Because work was so stressful as an outlet I began teaching fitness classes during the same time frame building a parallel career. In anticipation of early retirement I got trained and certified as a life coach 2004 and started a coaching & training business. Retired from DSHS 2007 and working FT in my business offering
