I grew up in Belen, New Mexico and most of my good friends are from there. I grew up with 2 older brothers (14 and 16 years older than me) so I felt like an only child on a small ranch along the Rio Grande. I rodeoed, showed horses, was a lifeguard/swim coach, and played softball. I miss those days!
I still get out and play golf and bike and swim, but I also conduct research on higher education related issues, including organizational change and students/financial aid.
