Born at Chemperi in Eruvessy Grama Panchayath of Kannur District of Kerala in a middle class Syrian Catholic family. Father is Abraham and mother is Aleykutty. Have five brothers and three sisters. Started school education at Gandhi Memorial LP School, Nellikutty and continued UP school studies at Govt UP School, Valia Areekkamala. Completed High School education from Nirmala High School, Chemperi in the year 1984 and joined St. Joseph's Minor Seminary, Tellicherry for Seminary Studies.
