I am a Chartered Accountant (South Africa). I achieved my CA(SA) qualification after completing a training contract at Deloitte in Cape Town, South Africa. After a short secondment to Chicago, as well as period looking for work and finding temporary employment, I was given the opportunity to assume a senior managerial role at the Sports Science Institute of South Africa (see below for employment history) - this was a fantastic growth experience for me at the time.
