About
As I write this I'm six months shy of turning thirty, twelve months away from finishing my master's and I find myself living in Wellington. Okay, there is a fairly well-trodden path from Dunedin to Wellington, but until a few years ago I hadn't realised I wanted to be a librarian. That changed after I started working at Dunedin Public Library.
Today you can find me examining books and deciding on subject headings at the National Library. Well, you could if you had one of those security swipe-card thingies. I'm more behind the scenes these days.
Along the way I think I have developed some insights into the human condition - like what kind of person would contest a 30 cent fine.
