Communications engineer by profession. Still enjoy conceiving and leading implementation of big private networks and systems for rail, mining, emergency services, water and energy utilities. Radio, computing, mobile data, optical, digital CCTV and pretty much anything running on or with IP networks. Participate in church life (St Albans anglican at the moment, on music team), love my family and just hanging out around our local beaches and marina with them. Like classy dress, apalled by casualisation of everything. Enjoy entertaining and visiting friends. Keeping up German conversational skills by fortnightly visits at local Austrian club.
