Raman is a graduate in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Jamia Hamdard University, New Delhi, India. After graduation, he attended the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (A.I.I.M.S.), India where he studied Pharmacology and earned a Masters degree in 2005.
As a part of research work done at A.I.I.M.S, he standardized an animal model for screening of anti-inflammatory and anti-histaminic drugs. In addition, he also standardized a plant model for preliminary screening of cytotoxic agents.
