Tech Project (National PAPER): Title : Micro-controller based Remote Monitoring using Mobile through Spoken commands Abstract : Mobile phone can serve as powerful tool for world-wide communication. A system is developed to remotely monitor process through spoken commands using mobile. Mel cepstrum features are extracted from spoken words. Learning Vector Quantization Neural Network is used for recognition of various words used in the command.
The accuracy of spoken commands is about 98%. A text message is generated and sent to control system mobile in form of SMS. On receipt of SMS, control system mobile informs AVR micro-controller based card, which performs specified task. The system alerts user in case of occurrence of any abnormal conditions like power failure, loss of control, etc. STATUS : Successfully completed with 98% on 2011 PUBLISHED : February 2008 M.Sc Project : Title : Vehicle Tracking System Using GPS & GSM Language : Embedded C (RIDE) Discription : The aim of the project is to build a system using GPS &GSM to track the vehicle . A GPS receiver provides information such as latitude , longitude, heading , speed ,time etc The project involves interfacing a micro controller to GPS to receive this data. The receive data is phrased in to relevant fields. The system then uses a GSM modem to transmit the parameter data formatted as per the configuration setting. The latitude and longitude are specific to a location and can be used for tracking vehicle. Normally the data generated from a GPS has to the corroborated with GIS information. In this project the aim is the GSM & GPS interface transmits data to a host cell through a SMS messaging. Mini Project Based on EMBEDDED SYSTEM Project 1 Project title : Automatic Water Pump Controller Done at : DOEACC Centre, Calicut. Language of Implementation : Embedded C (keil) Microcontroller Used : AT 89C52 IDE : Keil u Vision 2 Project 2 Project title : Real Time Clock using I2C protocol Done at : DOEACC Centre, Calicut.
