Dr. Prabhat Kumar Mandal is presently working as Senior Principal Scientist in the Mine Design & Simulation Section under Mining Methods & Design Simulation Research Group of CSIR-Central Institute of Mining & Fuel Research (CSIR-CIMFR, formerly CMRI), Dhanbad. CSIR-CIMFR is a national laboratory, under Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Government of India. He is also Professor of Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR), an institute of national importance.
